On November 20th, the Saint Petersburg Computer Sports Federation held an online conference “Development of student eSports in Saint Petersburg”. The event was attended by representatives of student eSports clubs from 15 universities in St. Petersburg. As a result of the meeting, an eSports student Council was formed.
The new structure created under the Saint-Petersburg Computer Sports Federation will operate on a permanent basis and will take on the tasks of organizing Intercollegiate competitions and preparing students for further career development in the field of computer sports.
One of the primary goals of the eSports Student Council will be to prepare for the regional selection of the all-Russian eSports student League. Given the unfavorable epidemiological situation, the main focus will be on creating media content.
Arthur K. Godlewski, the head of the cyber club of the SPbSUT, will lead the direction of eSports student Council.
